KICKING OFF AS TRIPLE-A
In this context the idea was obvious to get to find a bass guitar as well as a drums player really having the chops to supply for the strongest and tightest beats one could think of. Who else would be more capable of doing this job than former Point-Blank and Afterglow drummer and buddy Nanne -Rambo- Tiggelman!? With his come back the initial Three Musketeers who had been separated since the fall of the legendary Point-Blank back in 1994 are finally reconciled as the bands tough hard core. Formally kicking off named Triple-A on the 18th of April 1999 with bass guitarist Ed Krul soon after replaced by Short Cut's bass player Ab Houwaart on the 6th of January 2000 and on his turn by Ad van den Berg on the 25th of June 2000 it yet took until September 2001 before the band found its final setting with bass guitarist Christian Levacher, prodigal son of the late Josie & the Raw Deal. The above picture shows the original Triple-A line up with Jolanda Boonstra (vox) and Ed Krul (bass guitar)
NEAR RECONCILIATION OF JOSIE & THE RAW DEAL
As a matter of fact and already shows from the above, Christian "Kiki" Levacher reformed with his return nearly the complete setting of the legendary Josie & the Raw Deal crew except for drums player Joe Runge and singer Jolanda Boonstra who regrettably had left per March 2001. Meanwhile the band had decided to change its name into RockWell Ltd. as being a more favorable and suitable setting for the band's wide variety of mainly rock based musical styles. The replacement of Jolanda Boonstra was found with Cees Bontenbal per 4th of July 2001. Now this definite RockWell Ltd. line up proudly present Holland's newest and hottest act to terrorize the neighbourhood and storm the stages of the rest of the world!
